2019. 10. 11. Budapest,te csodás
We went to Bupapest on Friday with Sziringa néni and Ákos bácsi. I had to get up at 5 in the morning, because we had to be here at school at quarter to seven. I normally hate getting up this early, but I was really excited, because it was our last trip with just the class. On the way there, we were all really tired and didn’t have much energy, but we listened to music and talked. Our first stop was the parliament. We got a headset, and a lady took us on a tour around the building. The parliament was very beautiful and fancy. I think the most exciting part was seeing the crown. It is a very old crown and it was interesting. There were also some so-called „crown guards” and we got told to not go too close. I don’t know what would’ve happened if we did. After we finished, we stopped to eat in Burger King. It was perfect, because we were all really tired by then, because the stairs in the parliament really drained our energy. After, I went to Starbucks with Kata. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte with a chocolate chip cookie. It was really tasty! Then, we went to The House of Terror, my favourite. We saw items that Nazis and Russians tortured people with, and torture chambers. The way they treated people back then was terrible. They treated them like objects that they could just harm to their heart’s content. But it was my favourite, because it was amazingly interesting, and I think it was an eye opener for all of us. We all definitely noticed how lucky we are. After, we went to my least favourite, the underground hospital. It was interesting, but by then I was really tired and the wax figures really creeped me out. We got home by about quarter past nine. It was an awesome day Dorina Orsós
